Berge Zugspitze
Berge Bulk was proud to welcome Berge Zugspitze to its safe and energy efficient fleet. The vessel was delivered on the early morning of Monday, 7 March 2016 from Bohai Shipyard, China.
Berge Zugspitze—sailing under the Isle of Man flag—is equipped with rudder bulb and duct stream energy-saving devices. She transported a maximum load of 210,000 cubic metres between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Following Berge Bulk’s motto “Moving Mountains”, the magnificent vessel is named after Germany’s highest mountain ‘Zugspitze’, which rises to 2,962 metres (9,718 feet) above sea level and is home to three glaciers and Germany’s highest ski resort.
