Our Five Focus Areas
Our Blue Matters environmental sustainability strategy centres around five main areas of focus: Emissions, Waste, Biodiversity, Supply Chain, and Ship Recycling.
By tracking activities and progress made to-date for each area of focus, we are able to set clear goals and ambitions for the future.
Our philanthropic giving is also based on these five focus areas, and our whole sustainability strategy is aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

SHIP RECYCLING
Over 90% of a ship’s material is reused or re-constituted when it’s recycled.
